Our cosy, family-run Hotel Stadt Cuxhaven is in a quiet location close to the traditional “Lotsenviertel” (pilots’ district) and the city centre. From here you can walk to the beautiful Alte Liebe harbour square, the starting point for trips on the high seas to the North Sea island of Helgoland and for excursions through the Wadden Sea, a world heritage site. Nearby Grimmershörn Bay is perfect for long walks as far as the “Kugelbake”, Cuxhaven’s best-known landmark.
Nice little city hotel located in a quiet side street in direct proximity to the harbor. The old love and the city center can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. I have here a little break and felt very well, also because of the friendly team. Will repeat the whole soon.

Nice spacious room with modern decor. At the cleanliness we could not fault it. The breakfast buffet was adequate and there was something for every taste. All in all we were satisfied and would book this hotel again.
